A must buy!

As a first time mum I didn't know what to buy or what would be best for my baby. Here I am nearly 12mths later having used a grobag every night for almost all of that time and I swear by them! My very wriggly baby is all over his cot at night but I know he's always snuggly warm and safe in this grobag. The Anorak designs are just an added bonus, they're just gorgeous! Buy one!!

Lovely sleeping bag

very very beautiful!!!

I want one for me!

Love this GroBag. The designs is gorgeous and the cotton is so soft that if they had ones for grown ups, I would buy one!
My little 7 month old is always cosy in this GroBag, I would highly reccommend it. Quality and design couldn't be better.

Original and best

Love Grobags - the quality of fabrics used is excellent and I like that there are lots of designs available and many are unisex. I already have a few of the Grobags but this Anorak one is my new fave. Very cute!

Nothing better than a snug little one to cuddle

I have two lovely little boys 2 and 6 months.. As you can imagine its hard to find the time for cuddles when your are chasing them around. I adore these grow bags especially this squirrel design! for lots of reasons.. Their beautiful and excellent quality but mainly because once I have two sleepy snug boys zipped up and toasty warm in them they will always sit still and cuddle to sleep.. All of us happy and snug.

We love to watch the red squirrels at Grandad's house! We see them scurrying along the wall from the hazelnut tree gathering their stock for snacks and for when winter comes when its cold! Of course we'll be toasty warm in our grobag and to have one with squirrels on would be lovely!!

Go go gro bag!

I was given two sleeping bags when my daughter was born, one a gro bag and the other not. Although both did the job my gro bag was just so much better. It washed better, the design was better and the way the zip undid made nighttime nappy changes better. We are gro bag all the way now!
I love this kissing squirrel bag. The design is fun and would lend itself to either gender- after all you never know who it's going to get passed down too! The quality of these bags ensure number 2 will be equally cosy...!

Amazing kept my son warm and cozy I had a 3.5tog and he started sleeping through the night as he wasn't getting cold any more. I would never use another brand

The New Anorak Designs

The new Anorka design are so fresh, trendy and contemporary. two awesome labels- Grobag and Anorak combined together. nothing better could happen. often sleeping bags have the typical kind of design especially for boys, cars, teddybears etc..which is boring

Beatiful design, contemporary and trendy. For the mum who likes it a bit different. Very scandinavian chic. Lovely

European chic with perennial appeal of the squirrel

This gro-bag is suitable for both girls and boys. Stylish with European chic and the perennial appeal of the squirrel, who can resist? We have two red-haired, blue-eyed children - a boy and a girl - and both have had a sticky-uppy red tuft around 9 months of age, leading my husband and I to call them our little squirrels.

Grobag Guide

Choosing a size

An ideal time to start using a Grobag baby sleep bag is when your baby weighs more than 8.8 lbs (0-6 mths size). Your child's head should not be able to pass through the neck hole when the Grobag is fastened; otherwise the Grobag is too big. Remember to check the weight of your child.

Please remember that these are recommendations only as all babies are different.

Approximate child ageMinimum child weightMaximum child length
0-6 months 4kg / 8.8lb 68cm / 27"
6-18 months 8.1kg / 18lb 86cm / 34"
18-36 month 11.4kg / 25lb 98cm / 39"
3-6 years 53.5cm chest 116cm / 46"
6-10 years 58cm chest 140cm / 55”

Choosing a tog

A tog measurement is a European warmth rating: the higher the tog, the warmer the product. Grobag baby sleep bags are available in four tog ratings.

A number of factors determine the tog rating of the baby sleep bag that should be used. These include the number of clothes your baby is wearing, the temperature of their bedroom and your baby's health.

Grobags come in a variety of warmth ratings (togs):
3.5 tog Cold temperatures - for cold room temperatures of 12-15°C (54-59°F)
2.5 tog All year round - for standard room temperatures of 16-20°C (61-68°F)
1.0 tog Summer and daytime naps - warmer weather and in rooms of 21-23°C (69-74°F)
0.5 tog Holiday and heatwaves - hot weather and very warm rooms of 24-27°C (75-81°F)

What to wear

Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is a wearable blanket that will keep your baby at a comfortable temperature all night long. The table below shows our guidance on the correct tog of Grobag and clothing to be used in different room temperatures.

Grobag Baby Sleep Bags are designed to be used instead of blankets and top sheets and you need to regularly check your baby to make sure he or she is not too hot or cold, as all babies are different..

Styling features

Grobags come in a range of styles to suit your needs.

Side Zip

With double poppers on the shoulders, there are also under-arm poppers for when your baby is small. Opens out flat for easy night time nappy changes

Front Zip

Fixed shoulders are great if your child moves around more. Ideal for toddlers.

Travel Grobags

Like normal Grobags but with the extra feature of a two way front zip and a back vent so it can easily be used with a 5 point harness in car seats or pushchairs.

How to wash

All Grobag Baby Sleep Bags can be machine washed at 40°C. They can be hung out to dry or tumble dried on a low setting. As with all cotton goods, we have designed our Grobags to allow for up to 5% shrinkage. If your child has any allergies and you wish to wash your Grobag at 60°C, you should allow for a little more shrinkage. When washing, it is best to keep the zip closed. You can iron your Grobag on a low heat if desired, always keeping the iron away from the zip or covering the zip with a cloth. We recommend that you wash dark colours separately for the first few washes. We also recommend that you wash your Grobag with a detergent that is free from bleaching agents in order to retain the original colours.
